This cozy tiki-style lounge is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a laid-back atmosphere paired with delicious drinks and stunning ocean views.

As you enter, you're greeted by a warm, welcoming ambiance. The indoor space exudes a relaxed tropical vibe, though due to current circumstances, the service has been temporarily moved outdoors. Despite the change, the lounge remains an inviting spot to unwind. Guests often find solace in the peaceful setting, making it a great place to escape the typical tourist crowds of San Francisco.

While the menu isn't particularly extravagant, it features a selection of classic lounge food, including vegetable pot stickers and garlic fries, which are both flavorful and satisfying. During our recent visit to this restaurant, my friend forgot his bag behind in the outdoor enclosed lounge area. When we returned to retrieve it, we were disappointed to find that it was missing. We suspect that it may have been picked up by a staff member. If anyone happens to come across a small Nike zip-up bag, please reach out to me. Thank you.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a warm and inviting indoor venue. However, due to current circumstances, the service was relocated outdoors. We decided to try their flatbread pizza, which turned out to be a delicious and satisfying choice. Our server was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the menu. The prices were what one would expect in a tourist area like San Francisco, but the quality of the food and service made it well worth it. Our overall experience was memorable and enjoyable.

Tucked away in the cozy corner of Players Restaurant and arcade on Pier 39 is the Luau Lounge, a hidden gem with stunning ocean views and an intimate setting that I absolutely adore. The service here is top-notch, with staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The food, while not extraordinary, is what you would expect from a tiki lounge - I opted for the vegetable pot stickers and garlic fries, which were tasty but not mind-blowing. However, what truly keeps me coming back are the delicious drinks, impeccable service, and the overall inviting atmosphere of Luau Lounge. I can't wait to return and enjoy another memorable evening at this delightful spot.

A unique and fun experience awaits at the Luau, located at the end of Pier 39. After navigating past the Players Sports bar and a quirky arcade with a giant space invader, you'll find yourself at the hidden gem that is the Luau. I visited on a Friday and was treated to live music by a talented guitarist who played amazing covers, including a fantastic version of Walls Fall Down by Tom Petty. The drinks were served in fun glasses, the view of the water was delightful, and the atmosphere was perfect for a laid-back evening with friends. Though it wasn't busy during my visit, which may not be ideal for the Luau, it was great for enjoying a relaxed gathering with a group of friends. So go ahead, venture all the way to the end of Pier 39 and experience the unique charm of the Luau for yourself.

Ventured into this hidden gem at the far end of Pier 39 for a relaxing evening of drinks and appetizers. The panoramic views of the bay and Alcatraz were breathtaking, making us feel as though we were right there amidst it all. The bartender was friendly and attentive, allowing us to choose our preferred seating. After admiring the boats gliding past, we made our way to the bar (we enjoy chatting with fellow patrons). We opted for the vegetable pot stickers and the naked original recipe chicken wings. While the pot stickers were decent, it was the wings that truly stole the show with their delicious flavors. Next time, we'll skip the pot stickers and try the Kahlua pork tacos instead. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Mai Tai, while I savored a cold beer. Pro tip: head through the arcade to the tiki bar area for the best view, rather than the front bar. A perfect spot for a memorable evening with great food and drinks.

Upon wandering into this hidden gem at the end of Pier 39, I felt like I discovered a secret spot overlooking Alcatraz. The ambiance was inviting, with windows open to let in the fresh breeze from the bay. Opting for the pu pu platter, I was presented with boneless fried chicken, pork tacos, and ahi tuna over seaweed salad. While the presentation was impressive, the flavors fell short of expectations. The lack of seasoning left the dishes tasting bland, with the watery ranch dressing doing little to enhance the overall experience. The poke lacked soy sauce, and the tacos were disappointingly dry. More sauces would have definitely elevated the meal.

What an incredible find! This tiki bar not only offers a stunning view, but also boasts two exceptional bartenders, Joel and Ally, who go above and beyond to provide top-notch customer service. The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide selection of island-inspired dishes to choose from. In addition to the mouthwatering cuisine, they offer an impressive variety of beers on tap and an extensive menu of mixed island style drinks. I can't recommend this place enough - a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Located past Bubba Gump's and the bustling arcade, it offers a refreshing escape from the tourist crowds. The food is delicious, the drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is everything you would hope for at a place like this. A true hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

My wife and I decided to stop by this restaurant for a drink yesterday, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We have walked by the pier many times before but never thought of stopping in for a drink. We ordered a pina colada, which turned out to be the best one we've had in a long time – second only to the ones we had at Velvet Margarita in Hollywood. The bartender was not only attentive but also friendly. Despite being busy serving drinks and attending to tables, he made sure to take care of us. We found out that there's an arcade in the back with some interesting games, which got us excited. Although we didn't have the chance to play this time, we are definitely planning to come back, get some drinks, and have a blast in the arcade. The good kind of fun, of course – not the kind that would get us into trouble. Thank you for the great drinks and for making our visit memorable! We'll definitely be back for more fun and good times at this cool spot.

Upon arriving at this restaurant, I was immediately blown away by the amazing atmosphere overlooking the water. The view of Alcatraz in the distance added an extra touch of magic to the experience. To my surprise, the restaurant was located within a sports bar, and I had to walk to the back past all the exciting games. I couldn't help but feel like a kid again as I made my way through the lively crowd. It was an unexpected and thrilling start to what turned out to be a fantastic dining experience.
